outdoorsanctuaries: (via Beauty in Everything - Photography) Because it’s breathtaking, OKAY? Also, this couldn’t be seen with the naked human eye, I’m pretty sure (timed exposure, right?).  So, photography is helping us see our own world, the one that’s always been home to humanity, in new ways even after all these centuries.  Cameras are a new kind of eye with access to planes of reality that have always been there, waiting.  I love that.

littlehouseontheprisonfarm: Bird cage with real birds and two real vertical pianos. When the birds jump on the aluminium straw they play piano notes by Robert Gligorov Whaaaaaaaaaa? Okay. Stamp of approval granted. Cool idea, totally.  …Except, for God’s sake, put some color in that room for those birds.  They can see way more colors than humans can, and, as far as I know, they do not appreciate Zen aesthetics.
