Bogwitch

This is Cricket (which, by pure coincidence, is also my nickname).  She’s named that because the sound she makes is less of a meow & more of a gurgly chirp.  She behaves strangely, even for a cat.  And she always looks this wide-eyed, like everything that happens is a shocking turn of events.  I’m more of a dog person, but she has chosen me as her own & it’s no use arguing.  Either she is an alien from outer space, or she was born to be a witch’s familiar (and we all know what that would make me).  Anyway, good thing I like the weird ones.
